Tropea counts beyond 15 churches of historical-religious value.

The more important is the Normann Cathedral that encloses to its inside numerous artistic works.

Other churches to visit, in the city center, are: Saint Peter in Ripas and the Church of S. Demetrio (or S. Francisco d'Assisi).

In the center of the city Ercole square that is considered the point of origin of Tropea.

From the lookout of course Vittorio Emanuele, they can be admired "scoglio of S. Leonardo" and "S. Maria Island" (today joined to the coast) where si the sanctuary of "S.Maria of Island", ancient Benedictine monastery .

Walking for the evocative roads of the old city we find, in Via Boiano, "Villa Braghò", one beautiful and characteristic patrician country house.

Finally, close to Tropea, they are conserved, nearly integral, numerous urban structures of XVII and XVIII centuries like, as an example, baroque palaces with great courtyards and majestic doors.
