Tropea is a city of 6.843 inhabitants of the province of Vibo Valentia, between smallest city of Italy for territorial surface.

Famous sea locality on mar Tyrrhenian to the south-west of Vibo Valentia and north of "Capo Vaticano", has a church of Franciscans of remarkable importance and the Norman Cathedral of 1100. Of remarkable interest the historical center, with the historical palaces of the ' 700 and the ' 800 on the cliff in front of beach.
